Andrew Peterson and the Biscuit of Zazzamarandabo
My friend Andrew Peterson has been working with the Veggie Tales people for the past couple of years.
He wrote the silly song, "The Monkey Song" for their latest movie, The Wizard of Has.
He just sent me a link to the song he and Randall Goodgame wrote for the newest Big Idea release which is available today.
It's really good.

Wow! How cool that you are friends with Andrew. I love his music! "Faith to be Strong" is my favorite. I did not realize he wrote those Veggie Tales songs. Fun!!
Vanessa--One more cool thing. Andrew wrote "Faith to be Strong" for my brother as he was preparing for brain tumor surgery. He played it for us the night before and we were blown away. He also wrote a song for my brother's wedding called "For the Love of God."
Man, it's a small world! At a concert I asked Andrew to play that song. He explained why he wrote it and why it was hard to sing. He sang it and I cried. We had recently moved to AR and our daughter had just been diagnosed with Rett Syndrome. That song is powerful.
Oh, another small world thing - I hear your grandfather wrote about my grandfathers (one directly, one indirectly) in his book years ago.

That's awesome! I wish I had a chance to meet this talented musician while at FCC. Hey, someday right! Until The DAY, I'll just pass on Andrew's "famousness" to the little ones! Hey, I bet some of the youth group will think it's really cool that I went to the same school!
